Today I want to share with you this delicious Berry Peach Smoothie recipe that is sure to satisfy your taste palette. Many of us have a difficult time incorporating fruits and vegetables into our diet so smoothies are a great way to get all that nutrition without much hassle. I often have a smoothie as a substitute for a meal or a wonderful snack. This literally took me 5 minutes to make so its very convenient for our busy lives. Just pour in a mug or thermos and go! I had plenty of frozen peach and berry medley fruits in my freezer and so I decided lets make a yummy drink to sip on today!
Total Time: 5 min
1 cup of almond milk
1/2 cup of vanilla Greek yogurt
1 cup of frozen peaches (about 6-7 peach slices)
1 cup of frozen mixed berries
1-2 tablespoons of orange flavored honey (You can use plain honey and add 1/4 cup of orange juice)
1 ripe banana
Place everything into your blender and blend till smooth and creamy.
Garnish: Coconut flakes and fresh berries!
*If you have fresh fruits and not frozen just add 5 ice cubes to the recipe instead.
*If you don’t have mixed berries then can use any berries that are available (strawberry, blueberry, etc…)
*If you don’t have almond milk, use coconut or soy unless you prefer dairy than regular milk will do.
*If you want to add greens; add some fresh spinach.
