Honey Roasted Brussels Sprouts

I haven’t shared a quick side dish in what seems like forever! I made these honey roasted brussels sprouts for dinner today and they were super easy to whip up before work. It’s the perfect healthy side with any meal really. Today, it’s being served with a stuffed chicken as the main course. Maybe, even your kids will enjoy it since its a tad sweetened from the honey!


1 1/2 lbs of brussels sprouts

Salt & pepper to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp honey or agave if vegan


Preheat oven to 400.

Cut off the stem of the brussel sprouts and take off excess surrounding leaves.

Cut the Brussels sprout in half lengthwise.

Toss on the baking pan with the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Coat well.

Have the brussels sprout face down on the pan and bake for 25 minutes till its browned and fork tender.

Toss in some honey and sprinkle some salt if needed. Enjoy!
