The BEST Grilled Chicken

grilled chicken with lemon and clinatro

According to my husband, this is the best grilled chicken ever! He always requests this recipe and I am more than happy to deliver because it is so simple. Often, chicken breast can be bland and dry but not this one. I can assure you if you follow the recipe; you will have a tender juicy flavorful piece of chicken breast to enjoy. Chicken breast is often used in many meals because of its versatility. Many eat chicken breast for their meal preps because its a great source of protein and a lean cut of meat. I hope you enjoy this recipe and it solves the problem of having dry flavorless chicken!

Total Time: 30 minutes

Servings: 6 pieces

Ingredients

6 pieces of skinless boneless chicken breast (if too big-cut horizontally in half)

1 tsp Cajun or chili seasoning

1 tsp all spice

1 tbsp Italian seasoning

1 tbsp Garlic powder

1 tbsp lemon juice

Salt & Pepper to taste

1/2 tsp Cumin

1 tbsp Paprika

3 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  • Combine all the above ingredients and marinate the chicken in it for an hour or two.
  • Place the chicken on a grill that was heated for at least 5 minutes. I use a George Foreman Grill. Spray the grill with nonstick spray each time you place chicken breasts.
  • Grill chicken for 5 minutes on each side till no pink is apparent when you cut into the chicken. If you overcook your chicken, it will result in being chewy and dry; which is never good.
  • Finish the dish with salt. Accompany with any sauce or dressing you like. I love chimichurri sauce. Let me know in the comment section if you would like the chimichurri recipe!

  1. Also made this the other day and it was so goood. I think the cumin really makes a difference. It had the perfect color and crispy crust to it 😍😋 made it with your roasted potatoes recipe!!

  2. I made this marinade yesterday morning then went out to a friend’s for a few hours. Came home and put it on the grill and it is PERFECT. So easy and flavorful. I made a ton too so we have extra for salads during the week. I couldn’t find my allspice so I just upped the cumin to a tsp but will try with the allspice next time. Thank you!!
