2 Easy & Healthy Breakfast Recipes | Chia Seed Pudding & Overnight Oats

Breakfast is said to be the most important meals of the day yet so many of us do not make the time or effort to eat breakfast in the morning before starting our day. When we do, more than often we grab something quick and usually unhealthy since it’s convenient. These 2 breakfast ideas are going to rock your world! You will not believe how easy it is to make yet so delicious, full of nutrients, and healthy! Not just that, these recipes are best made overnight which means you will spend no time at all making breakfast in the morning. It’s just grab and go! Banana & Almond Butter Chia Seed Pudding

Ingredients

2 cups Unsweetened Almond Milk (any milk will do)

1/2 cup chia seeds

1 small ripe banana mashed well

3 tbsp almond butter

2 tbsp honey, agave, or maple syrup

Instructions

  • Mix together the milk and chia seeds very well. Add to it the mashed banana, almond butter, and sweetener of choice. Mix very well till everything is well incorporated. Place in container of choice, cover it and put it in the fridge for at least 4 hours or ideally overnight.
  • Top it off with crushed almonds and fresh slices of banana!

Overnight Oats (My favorite version)

1 cup Gluten Free Rolled oats ( You can use regular rolled oats)

1 cup of unsweetened almond milk (any milk will do)

1 tbsp almond butter

1 tbsp honey

1 tsp chia seeds

1 tsp flax seeds

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1-2 tbsp raisins

1 tbsp coconut flakes

Instructions

  • Mix together the oats and milk. Add in the rest of the ingredients and stir well. Add into your container of choice. Cover it and refrigerate for at least 4 hours but ideally overnight.
  • Top it off with some delicious granola and diced fresh apples!
