Dates are a fantastic naturally sweetened fruit! They are so versatile and can be enjoyed both sweet and savory with many applications. These are also visually appealing and fun to make for guests, especially during Ramadan where dates are consumed daily for an extra source of energy.
Dates come in all kinds of varieties like Ajwa, Sukkari, Deglet Noor, and Medjool which happens to be my favorite. For most of my date recipes. I use Medjool dates as they are plump, have lots of flesh, and perfectly sweet. Dates on their own are fantastic but stuffing them not only is fun and visually appealing but also super tasty. I used Natural Delights Whole Fresh Medjool Dates for this recipe as the serve as the perfect vehicle to stuff. I do not have to worry about any pesticides, additives, or added sugar with Natural Delights Dates and they can be found easily in most supermarkets!
